Re: Any idea?????? (dturbocivic)

Yes, I run only one fine pass with the ACT and got 11.02 in the morning, but in same day after noon the gear would't go into 2nd, so when i open it i saw that.

My first thing would be to try to contact ACT, that's a strange break

velocitytrends Mar 17, 2007 10:36 AM

how does the clutch feel when you engage and dis-enage it before the clutch took a dump?

Is the motor a stock motor/crank?

What were your torque specs and was your torque wrench calibrated?

Is it a stock pressure plate, ACT pressure plate? Was there any damage anywhere else, ie. pilot bearing , flywheel and so on?

It is a strange break, yet I have seen alll kinds of carnage from many clutchs out there. ACT will just ask him to send that one in and probably replace it, but that was on the first one. Being that its now 2 that have done the same thing it wouldn't be the clutch disc. Something else is wrong.

Sounds like you got a Bent Shift Fork in the trans

After i removed the ACT clutch, I put exeady clutch kit S1 and the gear was shifting fine but its slipping with nitrous.

So, i think there is no problem with the trans.

No way to put the clutch backward, cuz the hup will touch with the flywheel.
