Default 2018 Season Pacific Raceways - BuiltNoTboughTdc2

Gents, I recently had a privilege to race 2016 McLaren 570S. This quarter MILLION dollar exotic can smoke just about any car on a highway. But can it beat my 400whp Integra on a drag strip?

I guess it beat the Integra.

you should have beat him with ease, your car should be mid-low 11s not 12s. Get some seat time and launch it harder! just my 2 cents

I wish I could run low 11's with my current set-up. Before I put the cage in my trap speed was 121 with 11.9 e.t. Cage made it heavier, and so the mph is down to 118. However, my 60' improved to 1.785 since the car is stiffer. The 2-step is set at 7K, and I run 23x8, not 24.5's. I still hope to get back into 11s, though feel if I launch harder the tranny won't take it.

Hey gents! I'm back with another video.

2018 was a good season. No major issues. This winter, I will be able to focus on small upgrades and not have to rebuild the engine (again). Ever since I switched to Hondata (S300 V3), I haven't been able to break back into 11's. Kept hitting boost cut as I seemed to set the duty cycle a bit too high - chasing new personal best. As most of you know, duty cycle is weather sensitive. Making runs few hours apart made it difficult to find a proper setting (high, but not too high...). I plan to purchase an electronic boost gauge and replace the mechanical one I currently have. The numbers are much easier to read when your're at WOT. That way I'll be able to timely shift, or ease-up on gas, and avoid triggering fuel cut (in case the duty cycle is set too high).

Cool video.. I’m interested to hear a little more on your setup. I made 463 whp and I’m running the same size slick as you on my integra, but I haven’t seen the track yet. Which slicks are you running? I purchased M&H.
