The exhaust wheels flow very well on these turbos so back pressure isnt high. With a 6766 i think that statement would be different though
have you checked back pressure running the turbo full tilt?

Currently on a divided 1.16 T4 we're seeing little less than 1:1 ratio. From my understanding a 1.16 divided is about the same area as a .82 open t3 or very close.

Are you holding power all the way out to 9 or does it fall off fast after say 7800?

Holds power to 10k and keeps climbing if we pushed further. I rev to 10,500 in first gear for the extra little mph and 10k in 2-4

If your going to get one and price doesn't matter get the gen2. It'll net you another 40 ish whp over the gen1 and its a ball bearing chra and likes higher pressure ratios

Same here. What's the most people are seeing on the Gen1 (6266) turbo?

Can someone post a dyno sheet? I am curious to see what the spool/curve looks like.

Turbo looks a bit lazy. Look for boost and exhaust leaks. Good numbers though

I was going to say the same thing but having zero first hand experience with the particular turbo I figured it was best to keep my mouth shut.

I am considering running this turbo but would like a broader powerband as it will see moderate street time. How does your graph look in comparison?

Torque should peak and flatten out when torque rises with rpm is boost creep or a leak or small springs in the gates and asking to much from the solenoid to make more boost or could be exhaust leak too among other things. These turbos come in and hold torque well to peak rpm.

If it spoiked better and got the peak torque earlier it would also make more overall hp

Now that is what I was hoping to see, nice looking curve there. Seemingly simple setup too, well done.

we have a either a 7 or 10lb spring in it(can't recall). But yes we are asking for a lot of boost from the solenoid.

Stock port head
CSS block
1000cc
Hondata
T3 .82AR journal bearing

Wastegate spring was weak and wouldn't hold more than 29lbs. It made just under 780whp.

Pulled it back to be extra safe 750whp/490tq

Could have easily hit 800 with a heavier spring. Don't really want to make any more power as I'd like to keep the trans in one piece.
