What's the best rim cleaner/shiner/polisher?
So schools around the corner and competition is tough. I got an all stock EBP EM1. It has some small Knicks around the body that are noticeable up close. I need the rims to grab attention but I have no money for new rims. Whats the best stuff out there thatll make my stock si rims SHINE?
How about a good wax for the paint?

Dish soap, a nice wheel brush and have at it. Take the wheel off the car if need be so you can clean the back of it as well as the lug holes.
Use a decent tire shine (I use a gel kind that is applied with a foam applicator and not sprayed) if need be.

I've bought a couple of bottles and they seem to do what normal water and soap do. Nothing too special.
If I cantmget them up to shape I'm gonna have no choice but to get some new rims, maybe craigslist.

Sonax Full Effect. Follow the directions on the bottle and you'll be fine. Scratches on wheels will not be effected by any wheel cleaner...

lot of elbow grease, but most over the counter cleaner wax type products worked in with an old towel may do more than you think. pickup something cheap at wally world and give it a shot

For a car enthusiest, I'm assuming wheels never really get that dirty. You are just wasting money on "wheel cleaners" Simple green, purple power are strong on dirt and easy on the wheels/environment. You can use them to clean 50 other things as well. Save money.

I've realized that the rims are just uncleanable. Nothing left but to buy new ones. Sad to see a pair of Si rims go to waste. I've tried but no matter what I put, it seems like the previous owners mistakes can't be fixed.
They're shiny, but the faults still show up close.
