What product would best suite my needs
Alright so I have some holograms left over from the body shop where they spot buffed the car. It's not all over which is a relief. Under the door molding on the drivers side and the passenger door. I was wondering if swirl x would do the trick or do I have to step up to M205? Thanks in advance.

Are you going to be doing this by hand or machine? If machine, are you going to be using a rotary buffer or a random-orbital machine?

I've just decided to leave it to the pro's. Between M205 and a cheap orbital and other misc stuff I'd have the same amount in it.
$75 dollars and he will polish out the swirl marks and hand wax the whole car. That works for me.

The thing you have to remember is that if they installed the holograms with a rotary, you very likely may need a rotary (and some skill) to remove them.

I too am a HUGE fan of the M105/205 compound and polish, it's TOP notch stuff! I have to do it myself here, cuz I don't know of any professional detailers within a reseaonable distance from me.
If you REALLY want a product that blows you away, try Zaino brothers products. It's what is used on high end Corvettes, Mustangs, Porsches and cars of that nature... It's a long, drawn out process, but DEFINETLY worth the work. I can hardly believe the results.
