Some know what you have to cover to wash the engine bay?

I just cover the battery. Never had a problem. Just make sure if you get water around the spark plug wires, wipe them down. make sure there is no water as you might be running in a cyl or two.

It looks like you have a newer Civic that doesn't have a distributor. I would say cover your coil packs, alternator and battery. All the electrical connections should be fine as long as you don't hold high pressure water on them for an extended period of time....
Dry everything off real good when you are done and let it warm up to get rid of the rest of the water that might be present.
