The headlights look pretty clear, with the exception of some white spots on it. It appears as if fog is inside of the headlight, however after inspecting it, the headlights actually have white on the outside of it.

How do I get rid of this? Recommended products?

I have the mothers kit and it worked pretty good. Most stores have either a hand sand kit or a drill kit. Just be prepared to mask alot of the body surrounding the headlamps off.

there are lots of options to remove that oxidation that vary in effectiveness. i prefer the ones that actually remove the damage instead of covering it up and also include some sort of long term protection to keep it from happening again.

the only solution i've found that works the every damn time and doesn't end up hazing again is to sand by machine (i use the Meguiars 3" foam backed sanding discs), machine compound, machine polish and then Opti-Lens coating.

there are some DIY options to coat the lens once you get the oxidation and damage removed using a witches brew that includes urethane clear coats like Minwax Spar. you can find write ups about that on detailing forums. a pro tip tho: when you think you have it as good as you want, wipe it down with a solution of 25% isopropyl alcohol and distilled water WITH THE LIGHTS on. the solution removes any things from the process that could be temporarily filling scratches and the lights will highlight the scratches by default.

All depends on how much oxidation their is, yours dosn't seem to bad. Should be an easier fix.
I agree with builthatch, a good sanding is neccessary with a very fine grit, polish & coat. Will be like new again.

You could try one of these Headlight Restoration Kits.

Looks like they have a little tutorial on how to use them as well.

You could also just pick up some 2500 & 3000 grit sandpaper, wetsand them, and then use a cutting/polishing compound to remove the oxidation.
