fenderwells
what do you guys do after cleaning your fenderwells and liners? do you use anything so dirt has a harder time sticking?
|
Re: fenderwells
i have not tried it on my fender wells, but my whole undercarriage is sprayed with cd-2 and it does not seem to attract dust so i may try it on the fender wells as well.

Re: fenderwells
as far as cleaning, any heavy degreaser works well. tardis can be used for the really stubborn stuff, but you probably won't find it anywhere. as far as the protecting, i use Chemical Guys' Bare Bones spray, and it works well. Adam's In-n-Out aerosol spray works well too, as well as Aerospace 303.

Re: fenderwells
Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner diluted to your ratio of liking. 5:1 should be good to start with.

Re: fenderwells
oh i thought you were asking what to put on them, not how to clean them...amazing roll off will clean those suckers up real good.

Re: fenderwells
A squirt of spray wax in there seems to help me.
|
Re: fenderwells
so i have had cd2 on my fenderwells of my truck for about 5 days now and have did the normal driving, my driveway is gravel, checked out the fenderwells today and no dust and they have a nice matte finish on them, not shiny. unlike most turtle wax products, this is not silicone based as far as i know

Re: fenderwells
Megs Hyper dressing works nice also

Re: fenderwells
Stoners: Trim Shine
|
Re: fenderwells
I just spray foaming tire dressing on em. My car is pretty slammed though so you really only see the fenderwells when the wheels are turned
|
Re: fenderwells
I agree also with the trim shine its easy to apply
