Default Integra Type-R - Detailed

I don't post much on here anymore, but thought I would share a detail job I did of an old Integra Type-R. The car was recently rescued by an old friend of mine and he brought it to me to get freshened up. It had a huge key scratch on one side and many other scratches, scuffs, and blemishes. The full write-up is on my website, I will post some of the pics here that tell part of the story

http://elevatedshinedetailing.com/20...ior-detailing/

The car when I got it:

The key scratch and awesome swirls:

The scratch repaired and polished:

Some after shots of the car:

Thanks for looking, lots more pics on my website linked above!

Thanks, it came out pretty decent considering how deep the scratch was

wow it looks great!

I see you used the M105 just out of curiosity how come you don't use the M205 to follow up the finish?

The M105 was just used where I needed extra cut or on the scratch area. The whole car was corrected/polished with the Sonax PF in one step. The PF combined with the Rupes yellow pad has nearly as much cut as 105 with an LC orange pad and finishes out, IMO, better than M205. Plus it is WAY easier to work with in my experience. M205 was always finicky and difficult to remove on occasion for me. Highly recommend the Sonax PF next time you're looking for polish.

I think you will like it, the ease of use (wipes off super easy) alone is a huge benefactor. I still keep 205 around for other things, as I'm sure you know, some products are better at certain jobs than another!

Car looks AMAZING! Black is so difficult to maintain and work with, and you have done a stellar job! I too have passed on using the M205, as I've found many products in the Chemical guys and Wolfgang/Menzerna arsenals that work just as well, if not more… I plan on picking up the new Rupes Big foot Duetto for all my detailing needs! Great write up, thanks for sharing!!

Thanks! Black does require more maintenance and care than lighter colors for, but it also looks great when well taken care of as I'm sure you know

I like Menzerna as well but admittedly have yet to use any CG/WG polishes (although I've used some of their other products). I really love Sonax PF, it pretty much gets used for all but the toughest paint correction jobs. You'll love the Rupes too, very nice machines.

Thanks all!

I recently did a Honda S2000 in similar condition and also black. Few photos of that one with the gallery linked below:
