Default Weber adapter plate question...

Hey everybody, I've got a really stupid question.

Are the top adapter plates the same for all the Weber DG series carbs? Reason I ask is because I own two civics, one an 82 wagon, the other an 84 hatch. Not long after I bought the 82, I did a Weber swap to the 32/36, only to semi-retire the car after my recent purchase of the 84 (ithe wagon has chronic head gasket issues and is in need of major TLC elsewhere). The '84 is in great shape and previous owner did a 38/38 swap. My question is related to that top mounting plate... I want to maybe switch the '84 down to the 32/36 to get the better fuel economy. That and the 38/38 has not had a proper tune so there is a rich boggy dead spot in the midrange. From what I see online it looks like the base plate is the same for both carbs. I'm just asking so I don't have to go through the hassle of pulling both carbs in the cold weather for no reason to find out they are different.

Thanks in advance.
