Torsion Bar Help
Hey guys-
I'm fairly new here and new to torsion bars in cars. I've had them in trucks and never messed with them much. On my 87 Civic Si just looking at the front of the car the passenger side appears noticable higher than the drivers side. The 17mm torsion bar adjuster nut on the passenger side is unscrewed so that the stud is flush with the top of the nut. The one on the drivers side is tightened as far as it will go. The car looks dead level from the rear.
Have I missed something or are my bars shot? Could they be installed wrong? I know the previous owner replaced the rear shocks and added a sway bar. I'm wondering if he tinkered with the torsion bars too and messed something up.
