S600 Roadster Recently Aquired
Hi all,
I recently aquired another S600 roadster, here are some pics. The previous owner purchased it in 1974 and never really put it on the road. He spent a lot of money re-building things but as time went on it looks like most will need doing again.
And I have the original engine (in bits) so all matching numbers with approx 64,000 miles on the clock.
The previous owner advised that the motor had been rebuilt and was running however there was pressure in the crankcase. Any ideas??
Here is a photo of my other S600 that i picked up late last year. It had a full re-spray 10 years ago, it has held up remarkably well but needs a good clean and polish.
Cheers
Dan

Re: S600 Roadster Recently Aquired
Hi,
Nice score Seems to be a few S600's down here in Oz
Those wheels oon the second S600....what are they off? I very much like them. Need something for my coupe, as it is running the original crossplys at the moment. Like Bakerlite...sooo hard.
Regards,
Rob J

4 hammers,
Not sure what the rims are of, it appears that they have been drilled for the honda pattern.
You did well with your find including the silvia I always wanted one of those.
Cheers

It does look like a good find, pretty rust free, complete and correct as far as these finds go. What's the serial number?

Look like XC/XD Ford Falcon wheels to me. & they do look nice!
As does your "new" convertible.
Looks like an early one with the separate indicators (& Padded dash?).
