^ Reduce the weight (including unsprung weight). This is SINGLE-HANDEDLY the best thing you can do for the early Civics. Add a degree of timing. Run Royal Purple oil. Do the normal bolt-ons. **** - I'd even gut the back seats if you know they'll never be used. Oh yeah... contact Delta Camshaft and get you a mild (260) performance cam for about $95.00 IIRC. It's a regrind, but hey.

As far as adjusting the timing goes, if I add things like an igniter and a new, higher-voltage coil, would I need to re-adjust the timing again to something different? I've got the manual that tells me the stock settings already.

Hotter spark allows you to add more fuel/air obsiously w/out blowing out spark. But your biggest gains are going to be in reducing the weight - light wheels, litte/no interior --- smaler battery - etc. Just be creative. There are even guys doing carbs if you can tune them (you'd def want the ignition mods and other benefits to maximize your effort).

Default Mid-70's Honda Civic Sedan rear wheels and hubs.

Just trying to get rid of some mid-70's Honda Civic Sedan rear wheels, with hubs with with new bearings (that the wheels mount to). Treads on tires are decent, one is nearly new. Was used on a trailer that got damaged. Had to figure out what the wheels were when replacing the bearings (prior to trailer damage). One wheel has a Honda snap-on center-cup. The other was lost. I can tell you where if you want to go look for it 😁.

Name a fair price. If you're around the central texas area, you can pick them up. Otherwise I can ship.

Default ‘77 Civic CVCC for sale

Excuse me in advance if I’m not posting this correctly. I’m new here. I am finally parting with my CVCC. It’s been a tough decision over the years but I just don’t have the time or space to give it the attention this classic deserves.

Check out the CL ad for details. https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...498182788.html

WTB Looking for a 1.3L crank from a 1980-1983 Civic EN or EJ engine. Nothing else needed. Nothing out or the USA or Canada, but willing to ship if located there.
