Re: Official FS/WTB thread for all classic hondas
I have many honda Helm manuals and some ETM's for pre 88 Honda models.
Check out this link for some factory Service Manuals that are hard to find for these older cars.
helminc.com can't even get the book copies like this anymore so get these RARE items while you can.

I am possibly interested in the driver and passenger headlight trim pieces depending on condition, possibly pics if you can. Let me know how they look and what you would want for them. I will pay for shipping if you are willing to ship.

Re: Official FS/WTB thread for all classic hondas
I've decided to part out my 83 Civic 1500S.
It really pains me to reach this decision, as I was looking forward to restoring the car, but I've discovered there's rust everywhere and it's just too much for me to deal with.
Car is currently 99% complete (missing passenger exterior mirror), so if there's something you need for a second gen, chances are I've got it.
Car actually runs and drives great (has 130K), so if you need the motor/tranny it's a good runner. Interior is in fair condition, one small crack in the dash, seats need recovered, but most all the other black panels are in great shape.
Car is located near Pittsburgh PA, I would prefer local pickup on the larger items but could ship at buyers expense.
Let me know if there's any particular parts that you'd like to see pics of.

FS: NOS Fender Emblems
WTB: EB2 (1200) camshaft and oil pump drive gear
I have a complete set of fender emblems from a first gen civic. You can use 'em for other stuff, too. These are new old stock and are still in the genuine Honda Parts bags. I am selling them individually in case someone wants only one. They are sweet emblems for any Honda fan. Check out the "seller's other items" in order to find the matching emblem.
I put them on ebay here:

1979 Accord CVCC - For Sale
I put a ad on Craigslist yesterday and all I'm getting is looky-loos.
I thought I might mention it here where someone can appreciate what this car really is.
Minor rust issue on passenger rear quarter.
It runs good but needs some attention.
168 K miles. Great shape for a 30 yr old car.
See pics @

PM replied.
And to everyone else that was interested in parts from my 83 Civic; first of all, thanks for the interest, but I've decided to give the car another shot at life. It's at a local restoration shop undergoing the rust repair, so hopefully it will be salvagable. If not, I shall put it back up for parts at a later date.
