Re: Official Classic Honda's picture thread
Hmmm... I saw what I thought was a bad paint job on it, but now it makes sense. I can see it is/was made of cardboard and masking tape.
But hey! If you ever get THAT bored again and need something to do, come see me. I've got a tons of projects that I never seem to get to.

My new baby!
1980 Civic 1500DX
I didn't know dink about 2nd gens until I purchased this one 2 days ago. After a lot of reading I realized why a few details under the hood seemed out of place. It's already got a motor swap! lol (1800 EK1 accord/prelude). Now wonder this thing felt kind of peppy.
Got it for some trade work (~$300 worth).
The car is in really good shape and the interior is damn near mint, but I think I might have to tear it down, fix the body work, and respray it (probably not brown). I might also rip the turbo GSR out of my 94 civic and stick it in this. Of course that will necessitate a tuck and shave.

My 78 Civic CVCC has been in the bodyshop since April 1st. It has 29K original miles. Unfortunately, there's a bunch of rust being dealt with. Here's some of the work in progress.
