Default New Honda Owner! *pics added*

hi there, I pick up my 87 Honda CRX DX on saturday and super stoked about it. Can anyone lead me to direction of a website that will sell parts. I am no ricer but finding parts on a car like this is hard to come by. I would prefer new parts opposed to being told to go to the junk yard. Mainly a place to sell mainly body parts or possibly oem parts.

A nice list of places that sell parts wouldn't be a bad idea.

another question i have, will a strut bar fit onto this car if it came from a 2nd gen crx? I was given one for free by the owner for the front since he sold his crx.

insurance worked out, went with the same company as my parents... it's killing me though. 369$ canadian per month without collision!

I had an issue with a pay check today so I'm fixing it tomorrow and i'm getting the car at noon. I'll post some pics and figure out the strut bar. hopefully its a DC sport and not a knock off ebay one.

4 more hours till she's mine!

I'm 18 years old with only 1 minor speeding ticket(15 over and still kicking myself in the pants for) and live in ontario, we don't have at fault insurance so everyones insurance is skyrocket high. But with my insurance company they overlooked the ticket because it was minor and i only had the one.

Even getting a car alarm which i would need to get a known name brand alarm system like viper to actually be eligible for a discount would only drop my rate by 5% annually.

I got it today! Well... keys and ownership and everythign else but the car. I get my 10 day trip permit tomorrow at lunch then i'm taking it home tomorrow after work.

As far as the strust bar goes it's not a dc sport, it's a knock off... not even type-r or type-s... it's type-v. that means i have vtec right? Just kidding!

Here are some photos, i don't know what the code is like for here on this board so i'll post the weblinks

The fenders and the hood part(not the hood but the part infront of it when the hood is down) is cracked, i saw some replacement parts for that on ebay, should i look into those or should i look elsewhere?

looks like its in nice shape your pics suck though lol

id buy new fenders ,you can get them a pick and pull ,but there over 20 years old and will most likely crack ,mine have cracked 3 times now lol ive plastic welded them back together ,and the header panel is the dumbest thing they put on the car ,it should have been steel not plastic .buy one new if you can .

or you can check out http://www.redpepperracing.com and there is a dude ,that has a run of dry carbon fiber hoods in the works for 500 i wish i had the cash lol

your ignition key should open the tressure chest in the back its just a storage box ,great for junk or a amp for your stereo

i want better pics ,and to have the pics show up on this site just click on the last link
