New Combo Switch

I found a used combo switch for my 1983 Civic 1500DX on eBay. Arrived today, looks way nicer than the one in the car now.

Waiting on a driver side mirror because some scum sucking bastard stole the glass out of the existing one and I had to make do with a Dollar Store hand mirror modified and wired in place.

Poor Zippy has suffered many indignities. Locks screwdrivered out (replaced). Heard weird sounds outside one day went out to see some little rat skateboard jumping over the car and landing on the hood. Minor dents. What the hell.

This was during one of the times it sat for couple of years. Not just the glass but also the bracket/holder it goes in.

The combination turn signal/wiper switch assembly that you must pull the steering wheel to remove.

Got the new side mirror in. While I was swapping it, I noticed the screws were not tight and there were pry marks on the knob and trim. I think the thieves took my good mirror and installed their broken one. A pox upon them.

I prefer to suspect there is a local conspiracy where they break into your vintage vehicle and replace everything with exact duplicates! Or maybe I should cut back on the coffee.....
