Yeah there was a 79 Accord Hatch for sale in my city for $800 with no rust. I could of bought it but I wouldn't have that much money to do that much to it.

that would be really fast, I had an 87 hatch and it was light as hell, so I can only imagine a k series in one with a gutted rear and two recaros up front.

maybe one day I'll do this. I still have my '83 civic in my garage but it needs some new doors and new suspension since some idiot rammed it while it was standing in front of my house. for the moment it has a 1.3 hondamatic in it, I was thinking of swaping it for a B16 or B18 but why not try a K20 or K24

ive seen B16s in those EA's and ive seen B18Cs into 86-89 accords...

Buy a B16 instead... I highly doubt an H22 with fit in an EA hatch.

I have a 83 civic im working on puting a k24 in ive had it in the car had to noch the frame in the front on driver side but fits prity good just started on this sight so soon as i can ill put up a pic of it
