Just recently got into Honda's, I'm looking to buy an 88 wagovan and want to know where I can buy replacement body parts for one. Craigslist is not an option cause there there are none in my area.

junkyard is a good bet, or call wrecking yard in the yellow pages. Most of the best places are not advertised online or found with the regular search engines.

car-part.com has more choice and more expensive than picknpull.com

I have not seen a wagovan or similar in the junkyard in the SF bay area lately... except one last week... in good shape exterior, auto with 249K...

Hello,
today I changed the head gasket on my 87 Civic Shuttle, D16A7 (A6 without cat) engine. I plugged everything the way it was before, sensors, vacuum and everything. The timing belt is also in the right position. I tried to adjust the distributor too, but it just wont run properly. It's hard to describe, but it idles fine and all, but it just wont pull and especially on low rpms, but it's still just half power on high rpm too... I tried new spark plugs, plug wires, another distributor, changed TB (along with sensors). What could possibly be wrong???!

From idle its really noticable slow up to 2200-2500rpm, it just "dies" once u press down the pedal...

Any ideas?

Wagon is a bouncy castle with coils on stock shocks lol... any opinions?

Epic Swedish Wagovan hoonage, as seen on Jalopnik:

Not that I would approve of this sort of tomfoolery...

i would say you have your timing gear one tooth out on the timing belt, ive had that happen on the 84 civic wagon, the 76 and 80 civic 3 door hatches too its easy enough to do it seems,

(edit) or it could be the distro out by a tooth or 2, ive had that happen a few times too

I really want a Civic Wagon preferably white or red I have no luck hard to find a clean STOCK wagon 2wd in white or rt4wd in red, some wagons are overpriced and modified the wrong way leaving the new owner to fix the previous owners mistakes I guess my search continues...btw love that 370whp wagon very clean!

since I'm still a trial member, I can't post this as a thread and this is the most relevent thread. I have a newfound interest in the shuttle, The problem I'm having is do I get fwd or the rt4wd. To me, I'd think the fwd would be the choice of tuners, but you guys are the pros, so which is the better platform?

i recently picked up a 91 rt4wd but its fwd now. i need a damn u-joint and cant find it anywhere. i did just find out that there is a shop in brooklyn that specializes in driveshafts and said they can make something work for about 150. if your driveline is in tact i say 4wd if youre looking to swap without any fabrication, go with the fwd...in my opinion
