high idel and gets stuck in choke it seems.
i have a 88 honda accord dx with the carb. motor and it seems to be getting stuck with the choke on or something. i took air filter and box off and looked into the carb there is a flap inside that if you push it back then give a little gas it drops and stops revving high is there something holding that from not going back while driving? is it a possible vaccume leak somewhere not sucking that flap back or something? I need some advice. thanks!

the 'flap' your talking about is called a butterfly. im going to guess the accord has electric choke, make sure the plug is all the way in. when the cars off try manually throttling it from the carb, maybe even a little wd-40 on the side incase it's sticking. make sure you cover the top of the carb so none gets in..
