gas pump problems // carburator /
i have a 1989 honda accord lx 4 door automatic carb.. im having this major problem that i just cant seem to fix or have anyone able to fix it i need some help with this my car runs for about an hour tops than shuts off and i have to wait just bout 45 mins for the car to cool down and then it starts back up which is bothering me so much i cant pin point the problem i have taken it to shops they tell me its the carb.. or gas pump i already had the carburator rebuild maybe thats the problem i dont know and i need help with this asap any info would be highly appreciated thanks for your time .... btw the gas pump has been changed just bout a yr ago

It's either the main relay or the fuel pump relay. Replace them both and see what happens. The solder joint in both of them are weak, and usually if you re-solder them yourself, you can fix them. Or just try another relay.
