Finally, the search is over 1986 Prelude Si
I was always jealous of the other peoples "Barn Finds", the lucky ones who found unmolested low mileage "classics" driven by little old lady's. But after months of searching and being patient I found mine, a one owner lady driven 1986 Prelude Si. White, 5spd with 60,000 original miles. I could not be more pleased! Body is in amazing condition, paint still shines and some of the interior pieces still have the plastic covering on them. Once I get some decent pics I will post em

Re: Finally, the search is over 1986 Prelude Si (playdough)
so what are your plans for it?
in a way, it would almost be bad for me to find something like this, because i would want to mod it, period correctly of course, but still. i can totally see some mugen cf 48's or mr5's on it, and spending hours scouring the web for mid 80's JDM parts.. but to find something this original in this shape it might be bad to do anything to it. It might be different where you live, but here in the mid west its hard to find that kind of stuff that isn't rusted out.

No major plans for it, some wheels and suspension maybe. It is just a weekend driver, and I honestly feel guilty driving it. Car is amazingly clean, but it has been hit on the passenger side some time ago. They did a decent job repairing it, and besides it's still a one owner (well, 2 now) 1986 Honda Prelude with 61k on it and did i mention that some of the interior pieces still have plastic on them

Awesome find! I had a black '87 si which I loved to death. Yours brings back lots of memories. Thanks for the pics and good luck with your project.

Thanks bud I am looking to improve the handling a bit, but having a difficult time finding suspension pieces. Would like to lower it just a hair, and most of all improve overall feel. Any help you all could give would be greatly appreciated.
