Engine failure, but not seized??
 

87 accord engine suddenly stalled. No loud sounds, or anything super obvious. I did hear a little something that could have been road noise. Oil is low but there, has spark, need to check fuel. Engine will crank, all pulleys turning (visually) while trying to start car. Timing belt intact. There is something different about how it cranks though. Like maybe its restricted somehow. No weird clunks etc. while cranking. Looking for tips on what it may be and how to verify the cause. This is my only vehicle, so a quick diagnosis would be beneficial.

UPDATE: I was partially incorrect in my original post. I stated all pulleys were turning (visually), and that the timing belt was intact. While the timing belt is indeed intact, the cam sprocket is not turning when attempting to start the car. Now I need to determine if I have an interference engine or not. Valve cover removal does not show any obvious signs of destruction. When rotating cam sprocket manually all valves seem to be functioning, however a few of them seem tight when cam sprocket lined up for TDC.

UPDATE: I have an interference engine. However, the timing belt was only $20. That combined with no obvious signs of head damage compelled me to go for it. I am glad I did. Car started right up. I am now 100 miles on the new belt with no signs of any smoke, rattles, or clunking. Car runs better than before. The old timing belt was missing a number of teeth in one section not giving the crank anything to grab.

For any pros out there that may have read this and.didn't answer because the info for my problem already existed in past posts.... I did make an effort to use the search button. I even read one of the sticky posts about this, and learned how to properly use the advanced search. I read a number of the results, did not see anything about it, and was running out of time.
