DPFI on an 84 crx non-SOHC block
So I love my 84 rex, but its been running awful. Troubleshooting the carb and miles of vacuum stuff has been frustrating and dis-heartening.
Anyway, I recently started an MPFI conversion on my 90 rex and I was wondering what to do with my old DPFI intake manifold when I had an idea.
I roughly measured the bolt pattern on the dpfi intake, and on the 84 rex block... and by god I think it would bolt up?? I also have the old PM5 ECU laying around that I have no use for anymore.
Before I put too much consideration into trying this conversion.. I figured i'd see if any of the engine gurus out could tell me if theres something which would make this impossible, or at least not worth the effort? Thanks all.

Re: DPFI on an 84 crx non-SOHC block
I think there's a good chance it would, but like I said, I want to make sure its possible with a reasonable amount of work. I would hate to tear everything completely apart, then find out there is some small thing which makes it impossible.
