Default made alittle something today /body resto first gen crx hf

as most of you know when you lower a first gen it pulls to hole chassis to the left causeing the right tire and rim to rub a bit ,So i had to make a ajustable panhard bar ,played with it a bit and got the axle back to center havent painted it yet and its not the best but it will work ,im going to get a bigger rodend for the one side since it looks kinda funny and the other one has a grease nipple so id like to have sqweek free driving for a long time

here are the pics

haha look at that little guy ,its a 3/8 rodend just like the other ,but for some reaon when i ordered them in this is what i got ,so it will have to do for now

test fit ,looks way better then that junk on the ground lol

Correct they have them for mini trucks when you two link them... it is for the stress on the link bars from the rear end shifting... I also have a mini truck a 2000 gmc sonoma single cab that is bagged and Traditional body droped 6 1/4"...

i would have posted pics of my car ,but last time i did it just got me mad ,the comments made were very childish and uncalled for I'll give you one to give you an idea

the hole undercarriage has been sandblasted ,new floor pans have been made and welded in ,then the interior was sandblasted painted and primed ,
i had alot of mods dont to the car ,f1 fenders ,there gone ,rear bumper i made ,gone skirts gone ,its all stock now ,it has a 87 si engine and trans, headman header ,CAI stage 2 cam straight 2 1/4 dual die exit exhaust ,wires plugs and a few other little things .jacsonreacing springs in the rear , brembo/lightspped rotors ,new in the box and havent been made since the early 90's short shifter fender trusses and a few other things lol
this the only one i have now ,the doors look like **** because i just ripped off fiberglass in hald there from molding the door

engine bay

before the pump and regulator and fuel pressure gauge

Is it boosted? Or are you suffocating the carbs/TB's?

no its not boosted i was just playin around with the welder ,trying to come up with a diffrent filter instead of having the normal ones out there installed on the carbs ,i do not have these carbs installed at the moment ,i have a stock carb ,but when i have all the body work done im going to find a set of weber side drafts

i relized after that the back carbs would be starved or the first 2 would get to much air ,sssssssooooooooooo that little sucker is sitting on the shelf lol

Ya last time people were dicks...fack em. Most of them don't know what the expletive they are talking about anyways, it made me upset too And those that know what they are talking about...don't know how to communicate on the net, putting people down for no reason...it's bullshit. This place should be about learning not ******* people over for fun.

LOL well its all gone now i was so made and ready to go to winnipeg and bust heads ,comments really dont bother me ,but when i was called a redneck ricer from a guy in winnipeg .i was ready to go on a road trip ,few hour drive and i know people in the city that most likely know his car or him but instead i took it out on the hood ,alot better then being charged for beating the snot out of someone lol Its one thing to talk smack on the net ,but id like to see someone do it to my face (most dont have the ***** ) and when they do they have a gang standing with them ,that atleast what i noticed when i lived in winnipeg

sorry guys i havent updated on the bar ,ive been doing body work on the crx ,so its going to have to wait untill i get that out of the way allmost ready to spray the car , pulled a all nighter last night on it ,by the time i had the front bumper nice and ready to go it was allmost 6 am lol here are some pics from last night
all together i removed 4 diffrent colors of paint
there was a nasty imperfection on the driver side of the bumper ,it was super high

all smooth

allmost ready for primer

first coat of primer to see how close i am

all so prepped the doors ,the bottom half of the doors had the plastic molding ,im replaceing it with 22 gauge or 20 guage steel im allso doint he same for the one peice of the skirt that comes up and is inline with the door plastic
NO MORE 22 YEAR old PLASTIC lol well there anyways

and tonight i blocked it down and threw another coat on it
allso test fitted the fog lights ,i need alot out here in the country ,with all the deer and other wild life gots to see where im going and whats coming at me lol

allso removed the hatch and was very happy to see alittle rust by the hinges On these older crxs and civics there is allways rust there
