Default BrownTop Zc into EB help

Hey there HT guys! Kinda new to the whole car scene(and HT). Really love some of the things you guys do and especially E-AT_me's work.
I'm in New Zealand. I own a AT civic,JDM spec-standard as,sitting in my driveway complete but not road worthy(rust, its a warrent of fitness thing. Could fix it,not 1st option though )

So I really like the look of EB civics. Thinking about purchasing one.. And was wondering how difficult a Dohc Zc transplant from the AT into the EB would be. I know some of you have seen it before rah rah rah, how'd it end up? Thoughts?
Also have mates who could possibly help that are more mechanically minded than me

Also any help/info/tips etc would be much appreciated!

Pm or reply here! Cheers people!

People keep trying to talk me into doing that to my 1st gen. Can't see it happening. Good luck with it. All I know is it can run into a bit of money.

thanks for the compliments!

your biggest issue would be motor mounts as you'd have to make your own. i believe there is a combo of honda axles that "bolt up" for the most part. the swap has been done successfully. you would want to head to 1200.com and look for Justin.

Haha! Keep it old school, man, lolol.

Only thing I did in my 79 Civic was upgrade to an Accord engine.

But I say that because everyone that has done this (or other newer engine swaps) has told me that it'll run around $3,000. And that included you doing a lot of your own work.

But that isn't my reason for not doing it.

Fabricate and weld your own motor mounts, run fuel line, new internal or external fuel pump, converting your current engine harness to your donor engine harness, custom make axles, custom shifter linkage, mod radiator hoses, and the list goes on....can be expensive if you don't do all of your own work. Good luck. Check out...
