89 Honda Accord lxi overheating

I Have an 89 Honda accord... I've replaced the thermostat, sensor n the radiator. . It still continues to overheats. The radiator doesn't get hot enough to turn the fans on. Any suggestions? ??

Maybe a blockage in the radiator, or the pump has gone bad?

I just replaced the radiator Sunday and cleaned the the tube from the radiator to the overflow. What pump are you referring to?

I also replaced the water pump not that long, a couple of months ago. It was leaking.

Possibly air bound?
You may need to bleed the air out

If I recall correctly, the air bleed fitting is near the temperature sensor.
Try opening it enough to allow a slight leak of fluid and air (with engine running).
When nothing but water sprays out, relighted it.
Keep engine running and observe temp gauge and fan/radiator warm up.
Be careful of hot water/ coolant!
Good luck and let us know.

Are there bubbles in the coolant? If YES, do a compression test on all cylinders as it may be a head gasket breach which is not at all uncommon for a twenty-five year old vehicle.
