87 Crx-clutch
Hi,
My father just purchased an 87 Crx in pretty good shape for me.I was told the clutch slipped a bit, however it is more than a bit and will need replaced very soon.Does anyone have an idea of what it would cost to get it replaced at an autoshop? Not real handy with cars so just purchasing the clutch kit and replacing it myself I may not be able to do. Unless it is pretty straightforward and simple.Only paid around 800 for the car and so far the clutch seems to be the only big concern we have.

It's been a several years since I have priced it, but last time I did, it was around $400...
It's really not all that difficult to do yourself, but you have to make sure you have tools to hold the flywheel still while breaking the pressure plate bolts loose.
