So my car failed smog back in october; couldnt get my new registration sticker... ive been riding dirty ever since... but i finally got a ticket the other day... so i gotta get this fixed... I gotta take it to a mechanic because i have no tools and lack of knowlege in this area, i dont understand how to "read" emission test results... just seein if anybody can look at my numbers so i can make sure the mechanic isnt tryin to rip me off. Thanks.

You have a dirty engine.

I would say that you need a new catalytic converter and a full electrical tuneup. I would guess that you are looking at $300 minimum if you have a shop do that work.

ya when the guy was doing the test he was sayin it sounds like the car isnt firing properly... it stinks because to me the car runs great i havent had any problems with it at all thats why im trying to save it
