87 accord motor
I drive an 87 accord lxi 5 speed. My transmission just went on me for the second time now and i have well over 200,000 miles. I want to replace the motor and transmission at the same time. Where would I get them for a good price and with as low of miles as possible. I dont want to spend much over 1500 if i dont have too. Any insight on this is much appreciated, this is my daily driver and only car so i need to fix it as soon as possible. Thanks for all the help

this is true, but for 1500 you might be able to find another accord from that gen, and if its cleaner then what you have, drive that instead.
if its in worse shape, just yank the motor from that.
also try the classifieds over at 3geez.com, youll find what you need to get that thing alive again.
