86 accord dx question... :crook:
Got an 86 Accord DX, first of all, the current problem I'm having is that every time i turn my cooling fans on they kill my alternator/fuel pump 15amp fuse (the one under dash) WTF? any suggestions?
I work on older VW's (air cooled) so I'm not a complete idiot that should have their tools taken away. But when it comes to water cooled i'm kinda lost.
Also, how difficult is it to convert a 2bbl carb to FI on these cars? or should i just get a progressive Webber for it? also if i do ether one of these options can i still keep my A/C and curse control? I don't have to pass emissions by the way.
Also what engine swaps are available for my car? If any?
what else can i do to increase power out of the motor without changing the stock fuel delivery?
any help for a nube would be greatly appreciated.

I'm pretty sure I know of foreign aide.
I wanna do a dropped super beetle "street bug" build. Apparantly some company makes a kit so you can bolt a 4AG from an AE86 corolla into the back of an older bug. Post '69, I believe.

Re: (cb07)
one of the things i was thinking of doing on my 73 super is to drop a 3800 Buick motor in to it with a porshe 914 trany. and radiator up front. so i would have a good combo, 5 speed trany, mid motor and plenty of power for that small of a car...
