'85 1.5 12V PGMFI - Going turbo, need management advise
Hi guys, Was hoping someone could help out.
I have a wee '85 CRX with a 12valve 1500cc Injection engine. Im looking to boost it for a bit of fun.
I have already a t28 turbo, modfied exhaust header, intercooler, piping, adjustable fuel pressure regualtor, upgraded the fuel pump and have a set of the later 1.6 16v injectiors to fit (240cc iirc)
My question is how would i control the ECU management side of things? I want to keep costs down ideally so $800 piggy back ECUs are out the question. Are the ECU's chipable? Any way of retarding the dizzy on boost? Also without the car running super rich on low RPM?
Would anyone know if the 1.5 or ZC1 1.6 ecu is mapable? (as they are interchangeable)
Thanks.
Rickie
