83-87 CRX fog light brackets and switch question-

I posted this on another forum and haven't received answers yet. I thought I'd try here also:

These are fog lights I removed from an early 80's CRX:

I need to know if this is a correct bracket or some jury-rigged set up. I researched fog lights and notice most are similar to early BMW halogens and are mounted more towards the center in front of the grill. The fogs I removed are slightly larger and were mounted under the parking lights. I figured they were fabbed up until I saw the photos below:

The car I removed them from did not have the lower fog light spoiler, but the original bumper was modified to fit the lights. The lights did mount into existing holes under the parking lights. I don't know if these came with the AERO kit or not. Does anyone have a photo of the bracket for the lights shown above in the brochure? Or do you know if this is a correct bracket?

This is also the switch removed from the same car:

I read where this is a switch from a 88-89 CRX. It fit perfectly into the opening on the early 80's dash and all of the under-dash wiring I removed, from the switch to the firewall, plugged directly into the existing harness/plugs on the car. Nothing was spliced.

I'm not too familiar with CRXs and don't want to list things incorrectly. Are the brackets above correct for the early models and did the the wiring harness stay to the same into 2nd gen CRXs? That would explain why it was a direct fit.
Thanks.

Re: 83-87 CRX fog light brackets and switch question-

Does the harness still have a white paper label/tag on it. Should have a part number. Those fog lights could be correct for the kit, I don't know about that. I'll do some research.

I have the same switch with the harness and it is 100% for the 83-87, as it says SB2 on the label, switch and harness where brand new and came together.

I believe you are correct on the aero kit brackets. The non aero kit brackets only mount on one side and they are also a different style Bosch fog. Any chance they are for sale? I have an aero kit missing the fog lights. :)

Yes, the wiring harness still has the part# label- J8170 SB25. I can't find the number listed anywhere though.

I haven't listed them yet. I want to be sure these are correct for early/mid CRX's so I don't advertise them wrong. Since they mounted into the existing holes on the CRX I removed them from and not drilled out holes, I can only guess these were a factory option. I'm still trying to research, but there's very little information. If it's not too much to ask- If you have factory mounting holes for fog lights, could you do a measurement from the center of each hole, sometime?

Thanks for the responses.

I only have the kit and it's not mounted. No fogs with mine, so no way for me to tell how they mount.
