Default 3g restoration project

I own multiple hondas already but ive always had love for the old school. This is my journey into restoring the 3g to its potential. I picked up a 87 Si for $200 including almost a whole extra car worth of parts from its former owner who also wanted to bring it back. This is the car as it was when I bought it. . .

straight from the add on craigslist.

First on my agenda was to strip it and check how bad the rust was if any.

What a crazy surprise. . .NO RUST. Which is odd cause utah winters and salt have taken there toll on most cars older that 10 yrs.

First stop my local honda dealership. . .

It needed exhaust bolts, that shiz was the loudest lawn mower in the block lol.

Also sourced a fresh set of 91 Si buckets. . .

I ate those popsicles on the seat too

Bring it back to life, looks like a fun project.
