2nd Honda, similar to first...

Recently acquired my second Honda, an '87 Civic Si hatch. My first car 11-12 years ago was an '86 Civic Si hatch. It suffered a timing belt failure at close to 300k miles and was "donated" to the nearest shop. Pics of the new one will be added soon.

A list of cars I've owned, in case anyone wants to ask about them: '87 Civic Si hatch, '97 Jetta Jazz, '98 Jetta, '06 GTI, '96 Camaro V6, '00 Explorer, '89 Ram d-150, '96 Grand Cherokee, '91 Ram w-150, '66 Monterey, '00 Boxster, '91 Miata, '76 300D, '89 Corolla wagon, '58-'59 Apache, '01 A6, '07 Passat, '14 Jetta, '96 Ram 3500 dually. My favorites out of all these were the '97 Jetta, '96 Grand Cherokee and '00 Boxster.

These aren't my pics but you get the point: past vehicles

Currently own or have in the family: '84 Audi 4000s, '04 VW Phaeton V8, '16 Jetta Sport, '87 Honda Civic Si hatch and an '11 Silverado v6 is a company take-home vehicle. Here's to hoping I'll have some things to contribute to this forum and there are some helpful members and info here....

I'll add pictures of the current cars later this week when I get some time.

Thanks,
Ben

Welcome to the forum, for the past decade this place has been nearly dead. Please update and post photos of your current ride/ mods/ projects and even past rides.

By your list of rides, I see you're a masochist with all those new VW products...

Thanks for the reply-honestly I've had the least trouble out of my VW's. The absolute worst was the Mercedes-Benz. Everything else falls somewhere in the middle. Except that my current Civic needs more work than I originally thought. Something underneath with the steering is bent and I'm pretty sure new floorboards, complete interior, paint or wrap, climate control, tune up, tires, brakes, and exhaust are all needed before I'm driving this things around.

I'll work on getting some pictures up!
