1991 Standard/Manual Honda Civic Hatchback - Wont Stutter

Alright guys, so my car was working perfectly fine up until two days ago. I turn the key switch on, and nothing happens. The car doesn't stutter, the panel lights up, I get to see the check engine light go on then off, the hand brake light comes one as does the check oil light and etc. Of course I thought it

was the battery at first, bu it wasn't. My car lights and radio turn on fine. Then I thought it was possibly the starter but, It wasn't that. The way I tested that was I ran jumper cables from the battery directly to the starter and that starter stuttered and then I had someone turn the key switch on while the car

was stuttering an the car came on and the engine was running. However after letting it run for a while drove it around the block came home turned it off. I tried turning it on again and same issue, I turned the key switch on car wouldn't stutter again. My next thought was the main relay but I switched it out for

a new one and it wasn't that either. At this point I am thinking it could possibly the ignition switch, but my question is, just incase that doesn't end up being the issue, what else do you guys think it could be? Any suggestions would be of great help, thanks.

Clutch pedal switch. They commonly fall out, deteriorate, or squish in. Reach under the dash and feel for an open hole at the top of the pedal. Engage the pedal and see where it lines up with the switch. Push the switch itself in and try to crank the car. BE SURE THE CAR IS IN NEUTRAL!

Try this and check back.

Also, this should be posted in the Civic/CRX section and not 'Classic Hondas'. Cheers.
