1991 Civic rt4wd Dohc ZC Swap! need help
I recently about two days ago bought my wagon, and i'm in monsterous love with it. Everything interior wise is in perfect shape, but its swapped with a JDM zc. I have never heard of one or know anything about it but when i bought it the guys said it would start idling at 2k but it would eventually go down. Now when i drive it, it constantly is sitting at 2k even if I tap the gas pedal. i was reading on other places that it could be doing that just to help it warm up. Which is completely understandable, but when i got it back to the town i live (2 1/2 hours away from where i bought it) it started to over heat and i noticed my radiator fans weren't kicking on and i don't have the funds to fix it or know anything about electrical because it has to do with all the relays he put it on it. so i hot wired my fan to a toggle switch to keep it cool and i toggle it on everytime i drive it. could it be that my fan is keeping too cool and making it idle at 2k to warm it up or what? I don't know and definently need help.

civicwagon dot com for the info. they have a thread specific to a dohc zc swap. maybe something is wrong with system did you read the codes?
this is not a classic either. you have a 4th gen wagon
