Default 1985 Civic 1500S Carburetor Qs.

Ok, I've got an '85 Civic sitting out in the yard that I need to get running. The throttle plate rusted to the inside of the carburetor, so instead of replacing just the plates, I might as well find a rebuild carb. I looked on Ebay and found: this. Will it fit my Civic? It looks exactly the same.

Thanks!

no, it won't. atleast i don't think it will work. it's been a while since i worked on the old DX i had, but i believe it had a "mini" throttle plate in addition to the 2 major ones. in a sense, it was a 3 barrel. due to CVCC. the 2 barrel you show wouldn't feed the CVCC chamber without modification...

i used to own a 2000 frontier CC. nice trucks. (if that's what your handle stands for)

I didn't even think of that, yeah, you are right. So I'm still looking...

Off-topic, yup it is! Good trucks! I own a '95 p/u and an '03 Frontier.
