The only place you're ever gonna find parts for this is off of a doner unit, or have it custom made.

But even if certain parts are the same, then you've got the problem that an E40 is a collectible item in and of itself. So you'd have to rob one collectors item of parts to restore another.

I dont think so there was a e40 at the auction i got the cuby at, i pulled the cover off the e40 and the carb bowl didnt fit.(not to mention its aluminum) how much did it cost to have yours custom made? did you have drawings? and the gas cap is it the side cover screw of a 60s honda?
I got my cuby running today! it sounds excellent!

I used to have a 1964 CB77 superhawk, and lower engine panel-cover screw-**** looked very much identicle to the cuby gas cap, but the CB77 **** had a screw set into it, rather than having threads inside like the **** itself like the Cuby cap would have. Same went for the side panel cover screws I believe. Perhaps if you obtained the CB77 ****, you could custom make a Cuby gas cap though.
The dealer letter is a copy of a copy that I was fortunate enough to get from another Cuby owner. I can scan a copy for you if you wish, and email it to you.

^^
I envy your collection.
The Benly is the prettiest motorcycle that Honda ever produced, IMO.
I'd kill for a Cuby.

Nice bikes. That JC57 is beautiful, I used to own one, that's one I wish i didn't let get away. The early Dreams are totally cool, I would love to own one one day, does his 4e run? Just curious, where are you located?

Oregon huh, I was thinking you were over seas somewhere. How/where did you or your dad come across those pre-export Hondas? Did he import them, or find them for sale here?

You talking about the $475 float bowl on ebay? I wouldn't buy that, I got my repro floatbowl for under $50 (granted, it wasn't cnc'd aluminum, it was plastic). I'm still digging to try to find you the guy that made my float bowl, I'll forward the info if/when I find it.

Well, the couple thousand dollar units were NOS in the boxes, the used ones rarely break the one thousand dollar mark.

I need to get my scanner hooked up, and dig out my brochure collection. I will do it, but I can't guarantee when, lol. Sorry, but I work a ton of hours each week, and have little to no free time, but if/when I do, I'll dig out the cuby lit, and make a scan for you.

Hey Foristi
it´s been a while since I announced to put some pics of my friends CUBY on this page...
Today we took some pics of the CUBY itself and all the Applications it came with. I will divide it into several cahpters, starting with the device itself being mounted on the original platform and connected with the GENERATOR.
