Odyssey rb2 AWD upgrades
So picking up an rb2 odyssey on Friday. Just want to run a couple things by the more knowledgable guys and make sure I'm headed in the right direction with this build.
if I read the other threads correctly the odyssey has a similar system as to the CRV. Meaning for a higher HP build it has the trans that I want but the weaker rear end so I'll want to source a wagovan rear diff, drive shaft, and CV Axels. Is that all I need to upgrade on the driveline side of things? |

What market are you in ( country) that has an all wheel drive odyssey?

Re: Odyssey rb2 AWD upgrades
Have you seen the prices Wagovan drivelines are commanding these days? I could have retired had I not just walked past all those Wagovans in junkyards 20 years ago...
But to answer your question - yes, if you can find one, get it and use it. I've seen some people using Freelander VC's lately, but they are not serviceable without cutting open / re-welding. Wylotec is working on a billet Wagovan VC, and at one point in time, PBE was working on a billet Wagovan rear diff housing, though I'm not sure where either company is at with them. |
