Viper Alarm HELP
Have had no problems with my alarm until this morning. Not sure if it was a button i pressed or what. Model EZSDEI478. Only a couple things I noticed were different. Theres no more alarm sound. The lights still blink like they should but theres no sound. And the blue LED stays a solid blue instead of blinking. Mabye its in valet mode and i dont know how to take it out? I checked all the fuses under the dash and all were ok. The knock sensor was in working order. When i locked and unlock the car it works on the remote and i hear the relay clicking over.
Any Ideas appreciated! Thanks! -Steve |

Its in valet mode. open a door. passenger so your not in the street. Press lock, unlock, lock, unlock, lock. This should cure your problem. Bigger problem is that if you can look right under the dash and check the fuse on the alarm. Your alarm is in no shape to protect your car. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif

the dumb led stays on 24/7.

Re: Viper Alarm HELP
i got it to work now. who ever runs into this problem you need to take it off of valet mode.----> press LOCK/UNLOCK button once, followed by the AUX button, then LOCK/UNLOCK. give it a sec or two and there it is back to normal.
