Quick question on LED Alarm light location
Well this week im getting my clifford alarm installed, and i want a clean look. I was thinking to put the led in the basic place, on top of the steering column but i was thinking, i have a delete where the cruise control is supposed to be, but since i dont have cruise control.. leaves a delete there. the car is a 98 hx. any suggestions or oppinions where your lights are?
and how do you get the delete off? do i gotta tke the whole vent assembly off? if so how?
thanks guys.

Re: Quick question on LED Alarm light location (vlc92189)
The LED should be placed where it is visible from any window in the car and/or the cheapest piece of plastic to replace if system removed, a dummy plug, [delete] would be a good spot as long as it can be seen. 94

If you removed the driver side lower kick panel you can look up at the vent and see the two little metal prongs that wedge it in there. You should be able to pop it out from the bottom but if not push up on those metal things and it should come right out.

Re: Quick question on LED Alarm light location (White Smoke)
you can also take the whole buttom dash off which is being held in by clips and 3 screws (I dont know if thats what whitesmoke was talking about and if it is sorry ).......then right there you can poke out the delete.......you can also mount the led on the driver side A pillar where it will definitely be noticeable....
