Default Audio Setup

Okay I have a 92 Accord ex. I am wanting to upgrade my subwoofers and amp. I'm

wanting to go fairly extreme becuase I can get all the stuff for cost so its going to be

less than half of what it would normally cost. Heres a link to the subs(the 12s)-

http://www.maaudio.com/product...79973

and the amp- http://www.pyleaudio.com/itemd...3300D

I'm wanting to get two subs and two amps.

I know that the stock alternator won't hold up, so I was looking around for high

output alts and someone told me these were good- http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33573

Its 150 amps which is almost double the stock alt output. Would this be able to hold up

under the strain of those amps? If not what else can I do? Also someone told me that

the high output amps wouldn't put out very much power at idle. I didn't understand that

I would really appreciate any help and any ideas as to what I can do. Thank you

150amp alternator is not going to power two of those amps, try 2 X 150 amp alternators!

Its a company selling on ebay, I've talked to quite a few people have used their stuff.

Whats wrong with Pyle audio? Do you have a reason not to use them or just a personal

preference?

How do I run two alternators? Thank you both for the replies.

Think about it. Pyle amp, 3600 W max, for $432.59. Really makes me wondering how overly inflated those numbers are. If a Jl audio e1800d which only make 800W and costs 389.99. JL is a much higher rated company and has generatored a lot more respect in the audio world.

Realistically I think you would have to have a lightining strike power your pyle amps to get them to make the kind of power that you are expecting from them. Do you research and you will see that they are by no means a good amp. Look around, because you get what you paid for.

As for the alternator. Those are good alternators, I have one in my civic right now.

I am getting all this stuff at dealer cost so I may look into another amp. What about that Pyle and some lower wattage subs. I'm beginning to think that I won't be able to push those Ma's without some ridiculous alternator upgrading. Thank you for the input.

What brands are you able to get at dealer cost. List them and then people would be able to help you put together a system that would bw worthwhile.

My favorite in looking through the spec sheet is that Capacitor is spelt wrong, and they recommend at least 8 guage wiring from the battery to the amp. I would love to see the amp get the power it needs from an 8 guage wire. Looks really cheesy and therefore it is cheesy.
