Honda Accord CD Player Error

Honda Accord CD Player Error
I have a 1998 Honda Accord and the CD player works fine when I first start the car. After driving for about 30 minutes, whenever I enter a CD I the player gives me the P-E0 error. The manual says that indicates a track search error but the CDs that play fine at first no longer work after I drive for about 30 minutes. I have tried using regular CDs and CDRs. The CDs are also very hot when they are ejected from the player. Could this be from something overheating the CD player? I realized this was happening as I was driving to Florida from Atlanta. Has anyone heard of anything like this happening before? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Re: Honda Accord CD Player Error (TleahciM)
had this problem on a honda prelude.. after having the deck replaced TWICE under warranty... we finally just gave up and put in a clarion aftermarket unit... but for us.. it would not even play for the 30 minutes.. it would spit the CD back out w/ the PE-0 error..

Yeah if its under warranty just have it replaced. Otherwise, start shopping around for a new one.
Same thing happened to a friend's acura 1.6 cd player.. replaced it several times..
I've been seeing the same P-E0 error on my integra cd player for over a year now. Needless to say, im looking around for a new deck.
