I woke up to the power doors on my Honda Civi 2002 with Karr 2040 installed arming and disarming itself. I used the "valet by pass" AKA button behind the red light, thinking that would stop the system from arming, it only stopped it from beeping the horn so it set there all day locking & unlocking the car with out me knowing it. Called Karr's 24 hour line and was told that it was a Honda problem?????? I couldn't get the battery disconnected so I pulled the fuses for the doors and lights. Has anyone had this problem?? Per Karr there is no other way to shut off of the alarm system. How can I test the idea that it is the Honda mis-fuction and not the alarm??? I know when I go to the deal (70 miles away) that they are going to say it's the alarm. Any suggestions????
