JL 450/4 4504 Amp Questions
I am looking to get an amp for an S2000. I found a sweet deal on a JL Audio 450/4 and it's seems to be exactly what I need. I can tell you the amp is going to cost me less then 200 delivered to my door which I believe is a very good deal.

JL's site confirms those specs.

Kindof strange though. I've never seen an amp rated that way. :shrugs:

Re: (B18C_EJ8)
its called staggered power, thats how you can tell JL knows what they are doing. They are designing the amp for people who know car audio. You always want more power on your fronts than your rears (if u even run rears at all) if u want to run the amp in 3 ch mode, the 3&4 channels become your mid (front) section and the 1&2 channels becomes your sub channel.
For $200 take it and run. Its an $800 amp.
I would like to see more power for an S2000 tho, u have to remember ur gonna lose a lot of that power with the top down.
Im assuming ur going to use it in 3 ch mode?

Re: JL 450/4 4504 Amp Questions (White Smoke)
holy shizzz thats one helluva deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
yes youre correct that 1 and 2 channels are 150 watts rms each and channels 3 and 4 are 75 watts rms each.
id love to have a 450/4 and 1000/1 mounted right next to each other. but for now, i shall settle with a 500/1 and 300/4
you wont be disappointed with that amp.
