I need help!!!

Hey im kinda new to the forums but I have a question hope someone can help me out. OK so some friends and I were installing my sub and amp. During the install we had to replace my positive battery terminal because the original honda one was in piss poor condition and wouldnt hold the amp pwr cable. So my buddy gave me one that was very large. SO we get everything hooked up and boom... nothing. The CDplayer wont turn on and it keeps blowing my "radio/clock" (10A) fuse on my fuse box. I tried larger fuses same thing. Im thinking the new terminal is too large and its sending too much juice down the CDplayer line. Also I have a crappy alarm that just works for my doors (goes off when doors open). Help me I have no clue whats wrong (I also checked all the other fuses including the head unti fuse) GOD HELP ME!!!! im about to punch a hole in my wall

My guess is they either installed the battery wrong or gave you too large of a battery.

na I mean its the same battery ( just a different terminal ) that battery has been hooked up before and the cdplayer worked, now that we install a new "+" battery terminal its blowing my 10A radio/clock fuse

Try a different battery...the terminal itself may be bad. If you're going to build a stereo system, I'd recommend running an Optima Yellowtop battery. I put one in my Honda without a problem.

It has nothing to do with the batt., I would check what the amp control lead is connected to, pull the HU disconnect the amp control lead from the HU, [blue or blue/white], then plug the HU back in and try it, do not replace fuse with a bigger one then called for.
If HU works, [fuse does not blow] then there is a problem with the amp control lead, [it is shorting out] or possibly the amp. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emwink.gif 94
