How hard is it to get into my civic?
00em1 - I disconnected the part thats connected to my door handle, I cant use my key or someone cant use a slim jim. If someone trieds to reach in with their hand and flick the door lock, they cant because i disconnted the wire to the lock but still can use my remote.
How hard is it to get in through the trunk? |

Re: (em1woot)
Seriously, if I were a thief and I tried to pry your door handle and failed and the alarm didn't go off then, well, I guess that I would try the rear window. If it triggered and then went away then I would just pop the hood and see if it triggered if yes then I would wait the 30 sec and pop the hood and duct tape the hood pin, slide my ass in the car and disconnect the power to the alarm, cut the starter wire from each side of the alarm use alligator clips to connect them, hammer and punch the steering wheel lock and well I guess that I got scared away. I don't know, how about a relevant question to this forum. I figure that you are a smart enough lad to know how your car is stolen then why ask the question? Get a fucking stealth alarm. Of course what do I know.

I'm just trying to find out ways to prevent people from getting into my car, Of course if someone breaks my window i would wake up because i always sleep with my window open, so i think the only way getting in is by breaking a window or through the back
thats why im getting a back-up battery with 3 sirens. |

Re: (em1woot)
Thieves are smarter than you think, they will plan their theft for days maybe weeks if they really want your car. My advice, take the steps and prevent them from taking your vehicle as much as possible.

Wow... Nothing like giving would-be thieves a crash course in car theft... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...s/emhammer.gif Yeah, an experienced jacker would already know that, but for the lurkers around here that don't quite know how to do it, you just gave them a good lesson... |

Exactly... 3 sirens on a crappy install = 3 times more likely that the thief will trace one of the siren wires back to the brain...

That stuff you did won't really help, they'll just pry out the window then push down real hard,it WILL go down without breaking,,alarm may or may not go off,you know how these shock sensors are..http://is.rely.net/1-92-30009-l-tEzP...BTGi0jOCgA.gif

i have a silent glass slicer it will break your window without a sound, once that happens go under your dash or to save the time i could snip the range sensor to your remote then get the brain of the alarm without it going off, then take off your ignition cover then grab a flathead and your car is mine, or i could just use the honda key lol
