How do I disable my car alarm

How do I disable my car alarm
I have a 97 Civic EX which came with a factory installed alarm.
How can I deactivate the alarm yet keep the auto unlock and valet signal active.
Any help on this would be much appreciated by me and my neighbors.
If it is of any use the model number is P/N: 08E51-S01-100-F
Thanks

easiest way, cut the wire for horn output. Your lights will still flash when the alarm goes off, but no horn.
Just curious, why you want to do this...

Well I bought the car 2 days ago and have never had a car with an alarm in it.
I live in a very quiet neighbourhood and don't want the alarm to go off.
Thats why I want to disable the alarm.

You are making sense, but sounds very stupid. Who would want to know how to disable an alarm? I can only think of one person. Keep the alarm just doYou are making sense, but sounds very stupid.

I can only think of one person.
Keep the alarm just don't set it off yourself(remember), secondly
if it does go off you know you have a theif in the area, duh.
So it sounds very stupid to disconnect it, you gave a lame excuse.
What happens if you leave your neighbor hood, what you don't want to annoy the world
with it?
All in all keep it, I don't like posting about how to disable alarms, because
that would be feeding thieves. Not saying you are.

Thanks </TD></TR></TABLE> If its a stock Honda alarm, then there is no chance that it will trip unless you open a door, trunk, or hood , as there is no impact sen. on the stock alarm, athough there is a "glassbrake" sen. ,you would have to brake the glass to trip it. that said, if you want to remove the alarm, it is mounted to the top of the radio, remove radio, unplug alarm , remove 2 phil. screws tha hold alarm to radio, remove 2 smaller phil. screws that hold alarm ant. to radio, the door locks use the R/F section of the radio for the keyless entry,[ small green plug at back of radio, you may have to recode the remote to the radio.
If its a dealer installed aftermarket alarm, then remove the siren , find and remove the impact sen. , disconnect the door trigger wire to the alarm, and hood/trunk if there, or you can just place it into valet and leave it there. bingo you have a keyless entry. 94
