Tach Wire
I have a 2001 integra GSR, i need to find the Tach wire for a remote starter. Yes I am doing this, I purchased a kit SPECIFICALLY for a manual, which is real safe. This one requires that a tach output be hooked up. Where can I get this from. Is there any place under the dash or do I have to go to the injector or distributer?
Thanks

Re: Tach Wire (miahmouse)
That is the best place on most hodas, but if all else fails all you have to do is go to any injector most likely on the negative side depending on what the system calls for. Basically it needs to see an A/C voltage to disengage the starter after the motor is running. A/c voltage can be found on (like i said) neg injector, cam sensor, crank sensor, or even at the coil. Good luck.

Re: Tach Wire (RAF LTD. 2)
i didn't know they had remote starters for manuals.
They make one for manual. The reason I chose this kit is because it has a negative ionput wire, that in theory will work with my Viper alarm, using channel 3. We'll see how it works out, I am putting this in in 10 days, I hope all goes well...
